In front of a packed house, the four speakers reflected on Kirstein’s impact on American ballet and culture. An audience Q&A and reception followed.  The event was a precursor to the inaugural Lincoln Kirstein Lecture, featuring Helen Vendler, the Arthur Kingsley Porter University Professor at Harvard University.

“The Dance and the Intellectual: Lincoln Kirstein’s Legacy” was presented by The Center for Ballet and the Arts.
