Attend an event

Our public programming aims to enlarge and expand the existing cultural conversation surrounding ballet and its related arts. The Center creates a forum for such dialogue through events, lectures, and conversations that bring dance artists into the world of scholarship, and intellectuals into the world of dance.

Apply for a fellowship

We are committed to the discovery and development of artists and scholars.  Through our fellowship programs, The Center for Ballet and the Arts serves as a research institute and artist retreat, providing creative and financial support for the development of original work on ballet and its related arts.

Fellowship applications (2018-19) are currently closed.

Donate to the Center

We rely on our volunteers to provide critical support to CBA programming. Volunteers are called upon on an as-needed basis, and typically provide event support.

If you would like to be contacted about volunteer opportunities, please indicate your interest via this form. We will contact interested candidates as opportunities become available.

For questions about volunteer opportunities please contact Sabrina Yudelson at

Work with our fellows

On occasion, CBA Fellows seek to work with local dancers.  They may utilize our internal dancer database to make these connections.

Complete this questionnaire if you would like to be listed in our internal database of New York-based dancers. You may be contacted if there is a fit with a particular project.
