Unpacking a life in search of love, a memoir of sorts, using words and movement to purposefully create transparency.
Participant Bios:
Hope Boykin (CBA ’23), two time “Bessie Award” winner, was an original member of Complexions, danced with Philadanco, and most recently completed her 20th and final year with the Ailey American Dance Theater. Boykin serves as Artistic Advisor for Dance Education for the Kennedy Center and Artistic Lead for the Kennedy Center Dance Lab.
FOR IN PERSON ATTENDANCE: Per NYU Policy, guests are required to bring photo ID. Failure to do so may result in entry denial. Additionally, all in-person guests must be registered into NYU’s guest access system, and the information will be used for purposes such as emergency procedures and contact tracing.
