During her CBA Fellowship, Claire Bishop researched Merce Cunningham’s Museum Events, seeking to provide a historical critique of how the Events developed, and their relevance to contemporary dance in the museum. Bishop will participate on a panel discussion called “After Merce: Choreographers Responding to Cunningham’s Legacy” on April 30, 2019 at The Center.
