Ballet Imperial: Dance and the New British Empire
At CBA, Quinton worked on her first book, Ballet Imperial: Dance and the New British Empire. Focusing her research on British ballet in the late twentieth century, she explored how neoliberalism, immigration and globalization, as well as Commonwealth and European Union partnerships re-shaped this national art.
